The Briefest of Updates: Murphy still walks among us
Hm. It isn't enough that I am driving a 16 foot van for the second time ever, with a car tow for the first time ever, surrounded by semi-trucks running behind schedule, hauling my life's accretions to storage in Tennessee? No, apparently not, for it is my lot to do so while driving through the remnants of hurricane Katrina.
(Yes, I know, compared with other folks who suffered through Katrina, I should just shut up. My mind is still reeling from what happened, as I'm sure is the case with others.)
(And G&T: Sorry, it's Knox-patch, not Nash-Vegas, but between you two and M.P., with whom I grew up, I have a whole lot of reasons to visit.)
