AKMA posted a helpful and, as ever, well-nuanced rumination on church marketing and management, arriving at the perhaps-surprising conclusion that it isn't all to be rejected.
Also, The Ooze has offered a critique of management theory in the church. I don't know the Ooze well (as with so much else, I found the blog through AKMA), but I suspect he has a more Baptist/evangelical orientation towards the topic than I would take. Please understand that that is not in itself a criticism of him or his critique; I think he has much good to say, but takes a somewhat different tack than I would.
