Apparently I am the number one (and number two) hit on Google for the search 'scriptural reasoning rubbish'.

And so I would like to take this opportunity -- no doubt, making me into #s 1,2, and 3 -- to say that I think that Scriptural Reasoning is not rubbish. In fact, just the opposite: I think it is generally wonderful, and holds immense potential for the life of religious communities and believers who are involved in it.
